PROF. GREGORY A. WEISS

My lab studies the atoms, bonds, and molecules that make life possible.  We invent tools to dissect how such biomolecules work, and also develop technologies to control, improve, and fix them.  Our team has openings for outstanding researchers at all levels in chemical biology, bioengineering, protein engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics.

UPCOMING EVENTS

THE LAB'S RESEARCH

Inventing and applying new tools for chemical biology

Mark's azido-Phe synthesis and characterization of its explosive properties featured in C&E News.

Watch an egg being unboiled and then cooked again!

TED-Ed animation by Eleanor Nielsen describing the Weiss lab's unboiling an egg experiment.
